FORSTYH, Mo. – FEMA representatives joined Taney County Commissioners this (Monday) morning, to present the options currently available to victims of the recent flood waters.
FEMA Intergovernmental Affairs representative Christopher Arnim says they want to encourage anyone who received damages from the flood to seek out assistance:
Arnim adds people who are declined by FEMA for assistance need to know that’s not the end of the road. FEMA can take your information and funnel it into a grant program where they could be a chance for some money in the end.
While not always a popular option, Arnim says a Small Business Administration loan is part of the process and is available to flood victims looking for additional assistance.
