FORSYTH, Mo. – The Forsyth Police Department is partnering up with statewide law enforcement for an aggressive “Click or Ticket” mobilization on Friday, February 19th.
In a release issued by Chief of Police Roger Ellis, he reports that despite evidence proving the benefits of wearing a seat belt, 20-percent of Missouri motorists are still not making it click. He adds even worse, 63-percent of occupants killed in crashes in Missouri were unrestrained.
Ellis says his department will be out in force to remind area resident that seatbelts can and do save lives.
