Barry Co. Traffic Stop Results in Charges

MONETT, Mo. – A Barry County man is facing several charges stemming from a traffic stop in Monett Sunday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 34-year-old Jason Stewart of Purdy is cited for felony driving while intoxicated, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while revoked, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, and failure to wear a seatbelt.

The report indicates Stewart was detained by Monett Police, and later released.
