HOLLISTER, Mo. – After appearing before the Hollister Board of Aldermen for a second time last night, a special use permit application is approved for Car Go Motors LLC to operate a used car lot at 19-31 South Business 65.
Owner Chad Riewski says he expects over 35-percent of his business to come from local residents, generating significant revenue for the city…
City Administrator Rick Ziegenfuss stated if the car lot sells 20 vehicles to Hollister residents this year, those transactions would generate about 4-thousand 500 dollars in local sales tax.
The approval came with a split vote from the board. Ward 2 aldermen Dave Willard and Phil Carman voted against the request, while Ward 1 aldermen David Honey and Aaron Eskew supported the application.
Mayor David Tate cast the deciding vote in favor of the special use permit.
