On Sunday, January 17th, the Branson IMAX projected its final film on its 15/70 film projection system and closed the theater doors with the promise of a whole new cinematic experience to come.

This new IMAX next-generation technology, features a digital laser projection system, which will provide audiences with the sharpest, brightest, clearest, and most vivid digital images ever, combined with a whole new level of immersive audio, according to President of ITEC Attractions Randy Brashers:

The new system includes IMAX’s next-generation, 12 channel sound technology, which delivers even greater power and precision for the ultimate audio immersion.
