SHELL KNOB, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation presents a 100-thousand-dollar check to Gene Stimble of Stimble Enterprises for improvements made at the Campbell Point Marina in Shell Knob.
The check was presented on Tuesday, February 2nd, for construction completed by Campbell Point Marina, in partnership with MariCorp U.S., which meets the requirements of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Boating Infrastructure Grant program. The primary requirements of this program are to construct, renovate and maintain boating infrastructure tie-up facilities for vessels 26 feet or more in length.
This grant program is part the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Sport Fish Restoration Program. Through these improvements, the Campbell Point Marina is giving larger boats a place to tie up and properly dispose of waste materials, which will reduce the chance that they’ll be disposed of on the lake.
Campbell Point Marina is located in Stone County on the western part of Table Rock Lake.
