FORSYTH, Mo. – The National Weather Service is providing severe weather training this week for local citizens interested in serving as volunteer storm spotters.
The three-hour session is scheduled for Thursday night beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center of Forsyth Public Schools.
Branson Fire Chief Ted Martin says storm spotters work with emergency managers to provide the first line of information on developing weather systems…
Martin says registration is not required. Those wanting to attend the free training session are asked to park at the north side of the Forsyth Elementary building, near the football field.
