Vehicle Catches Fire Behind Restaurant in Branson

BRANSON, Mo. – Branson Fire-Rescue Crews respond to a Friday morning vehicle fire in Branson.

Crews were called to the parking lot area behind the Applebee’s Restaurant along the 76 Strip in Branson, at approximately 9:30 a.m., where they discovered a vehicle generating smoke and flames from under the hood.

The vehicles owner shared with fire officials that in the last few days she had begun smelling gasoline while driving the vehicle. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.

No injuries are being reported.
