MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – Two men from Baxter County plead guilty Thursday to sexually assaulting minors.
Court documents show 62-year-old Larry Johnson from Mountain Home pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 17-year-old in July of 2015. Additionally, the documents say the 17-year-old victim has the mental capacity of a 7 to 10 year old.
Baxter County Circuit Court Judge John Putman sentenced Johnson to 12 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections, on Thursday.
Thirty three -year-old Zachery Smith from Ash Flat pleaded guilty to fondling a 14-year-old girl in early 2015.
On Thursday, Judge Putman sentenced him to an 18 year stent in the state prison.
