RIDGEDALE, Mo. – While the Champions Division is tight, one team has pulled away in the Legends Division entering the final day of the Big Cedar Lodge Legends of Golf Tournament.
After posting the best score in the Champions Division at Top of the Rock on Friday, Sandy Lyle and Ian Woosman turn it on at Buffalo Ridge on Saturday birding five of the final six holes to pull ahead by two shots. Two teams are tied for second place and four more teams are tied for fourth place just three shots back.
Meanwhile in the Legends Division, a strong day by Bruce Fleisher and Larry Nelson has them four shots of Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player as well as the team of Butch Baird and Al Geberger. Fleisher/Nelson used a good day at Buffalo Ridge to surge ahead shooting a 66.
