HARRISON, Ark. – The head football coach for the Harrison Goblins will not return to the sidelines next season.
Chad Harbison resigned today and says he will be taking an assistant coaching position in Russellville. An official with the school district confirmed the resignation to be true, but said the school district hasn’t formally received a letter of resignation from Harbison.
He led the Goblins to their first playoff appearance in eight seasons last year. He leaves the program with a 13 and 32 record as head coach.
Harbison joins his former offensive coordinator, J.D. Plumlee, who had already left Harrison to take a coaching job in Russellville.
