BRANSON, Mo. – Frontier Airlines announces it will not resume flight services from the Branson Airport in 2015, according to a new release, citing the airline is changing its business model.
The airlines has partnered with the Branson Airport since 2010, providing flights to and from Denver, Phoenix, and Austin. According to a release, the airport has previously relied on traffic to Denver, but will now look to deliver low fares to local traffic with point-to-point service. The release went on to say that at this time Branson does not fit within this shift.
The airline had stopped flight service on October 25, and usually picked back up in the spring in previous years. The Branson Airport has flights to Chicago and Houston courtesy of Branson Air Express.
