A man charged in a vehicle robbery and an armed robbery of a Branson hotel is bound over for circuit court arraignment.
Forty-six-year-old Kimberly Keith Cook of Springfield was arrested by a Taney County Sheriff’s Deputy October 2nd and then positively identified by the victims, according to Branson Police.
Cook reportedly asked a female driver for a ride on Highway 76, then displayed a knife and got behind the wheel. The woman was able to exit the vehicle and report the incident to police.
A short time later police responded to the Brick House Hotel on a report of a man displaying a knife and demanding money. Cook allegedly left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was arrested at a local convenience store based on the stolen vehicle description.
Cook is charged with 2 counts of first-degree robbery and 2 counts of armed criminal action. He is being held without bond in the Taney County Jail, with his arraignment hearing scheduled for December 4th.
