MO Unemployment Drops Below 6 Percent

Missouri’s unemployment rate drops by four-tenths of a point to 5-point-9 percent in October, marking the lowest rate since June of 2008 according to the state department of economic development. Missouri’s nonfarm payroll employment grew by 24-hundred jobs last month, marking an increase of more than 48-thousand jobs year-to-date.
