POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. – A few of College of the Ozarks’ culinary students and alumni medal at the John Joyce Culinary Challenge in Overland Park, Kansas.
Hadassah Hirscher and Rebecca Harris each took silver medals in an indivdual student competition where they each had to prepare a entree for four in 90 minutes.
Graduates Lindsey Whitener and Joy Hunt competed together at the professional level to create four different courses for eight within four hours. They recieved bronze medals.
The competition took place at the Johnson County Community College and is a regional event with participants from Missouri, Nebraska and Arkansas.
