Branson Crashes Result in Minor Injuries

Branson firefighters remove the occupants of a passenger van that crashed at Castle Rock Resort & Water Park Friday, November 14, 2014.

Emergency services including Branson Fire and Police and the Taney County Ambulance District respond to a head-on collision at Highway 76 near the Hall of Fame Motel and Rosalee Street, around 3:30 p.m. Friday.

The crash resulted in extensive damages to both vehicles. One person was transported for treatment of minor injuries, according to Fire Chief Ted Martin.

While on scene, crews were called to a second accident at the Castle Rock Resort & Water Park.




thumb_5ce4027b73a59eeMartin says a passenger van occupied by 4 women was southbound on Judy Street when it traveled off the road, through some brush and landed on top of a Century Link phone box.

The occupants were removed by firefighters and transported for treatment of minor injuries by TCAD.

CenturyLink crews were on scene determining damages and working to restore any service outages in the area of Green Mountain Drive and Highway 165.
