GREEN FOREST, Ark. – A former Green Forest Alderman is killed in a single vehicle crash on Monday in Benton County.
According to Arkansas State Police, 62-year-old Mike Miller was eastbound on Highway 62 when his vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road, and struck an embankment. He was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the accident report, Miller was not wearing a seat belt.
Visitation will be held this weekend on Sunday at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral service is scheduled for Monday at 10 a.m.
Miller was defeated by Donald McNeely for Carroll County District 8 Justice of the Peace in last week’s election
