SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – A Springfield gas station is robbed at gunpoint this morning.
Springfield police responded to a Phillips 66 gas station at 828 East Battlefield Road around 4:30 a.m. after a man reportedly entered the business, pointed a hand gun at an employee, and demanded money. He then left the building and headed west on foot.
Police are searching for a man about 5-foot-9 with a grey hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants, and blue sneakers with green stripes. He was wearing a blue handkerchief over his face in the surveillance video.
No injuries are reported in the robbery.
