Reeds Springs Woman Hurt in Crash

thumb_6b3d71fa003495dMOUNT VERNON, Mo. – A woman from Reeds Spring suffers injuries in single car crash on I-44 about two miles north of Mt. Vernon this morning.

Police say 18-year-old Alyssa Patterson of Ozark was eastbound around midnight when her SUV struck a deer, hit the guard rail, and overturned.

Patterson and her passenger, 42-year-old Cherry White, were both taken by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield. Patterson is listed with minor injuries and White suffers moderate injuries – White was not wearing a seatbelt according to accident report.
