PSC Sets Hearing Schedule in Empire Rate Case

thumb_b0f7dcdc17d0965The Missouri Public Service Commission has set its hearing schedule in an electric rate case filed by Empire District Electric Company.

Empire is seeking to increase annual revenues by more than 24-million dollars. Residential customers using 1-thousand kilowatt-hours of electricity would see a monthly increase of approximately 10-dollars.

Evidentiary hearings are set for April 6th through 10th, and April 13th through 17th in Room 310 of the Governor Office Building in Jefferson City.

Empire serves more than 148-thousand customers in Missouri, including those in Barry, Christian, Stone and Taney Counties.
