BRANSON, Mo. – Branson comedian Yakov Smirnoff is setting his sights on a television sitcom based on his experiences in college classes at the University of Missouri.
Smirnoff is expected to sit-in on classes focusing on relationships for a new series called “Happily Ever Laughter”, which features the same producers as “The Cosby Show”, “Roseanne”, and “That 70’s Show”.
Smirnoff has taught at Missouri State University and Drury in Springfield. He also has a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
