HARRISON, Ark. – Arkansas gubernatorial candidate Asa Hutchinson continues his final push toward election day with a stop in Harrison last night at the Quality Inn Convention Center.
Current polls show the Republican candidate Hutchinson is up 49-percent to the democratic candidate Mike Ross. With one week remaining before Election Day, Hutchinson is still out to claim undecided votes:

The former U.S. Congressman met with supporters for nearly an hour before giving a campaign update where he says there’s strong voter turnout across the state. He says he received a text from a family in Bella Vista who tried to vote early only to find a 30-minute wait period:

Hutchinson was defeated in the 2006 gubernatorial election by current Governor Mike Beebe. He will be looking for a different outcome next Tuesday on Election Night.
