HARRISON, Ark. – A former Harrison pastor’s trial for sexual assault allegations is being delayed, according to Deputy Boone County Prosecutor Chris Carter.
Deputy Prosecutor Carter says the trial of 35-year-old Larry Berkley will be continued after his trial in Tennessee on additional sexual assault charges.
Berkley is charged in Arkansas with sexual assault, sexual solicitation, furnishing alcohol to a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and distributing pornography to minors. Berkley pleaded not guilty to the charges.
He was indicted in Tennessee on charges of rape, statutory rape and sexual battery.
