Fundraising efforts continue for Forsyth Police Sergeant Steve Huggins, who suffered a blood infection requiring open-heart surgery in September.
A benefit gospel music concert was held over the weekend, with another event scheduled for Saturday, November 8th beginning at 5 p.m.
Forsyth First Baptist Church will host a chili dinner and auction, with all proceeds benefiting Huggins. Participants will be able to bid on various items, and a raffle drawing will be held for a Rossi .243 rifle and a handcrafted quilt.
Raffle tickets cost 1-dollar each or 6 for 5-dollars, and can be purchased at Forsyth City Hall.
