JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Missouri legislators are asking Gov. Jay Nixon to take preventive measures against a potential Ebola outbreak in the state.
Republican senators expressed concern as a public health forum on Wednesday questioning if emergency responders have the necessary training and resources.
Republican Senator Kurt Schaefer of Columbia and Rob Schaaf of St. Joseph are asking the governor to issue a travel ban against those who have been to countries which have reported Ebola outbreaks.
