Farris Pleads Not Guilty to Stealing

A former chief operating officer of a local law firm pleads not guilty to felony stealing in Taney County Circuit Court.

Forty-five-year-old Elizabeth Farris of Branson is accused of appropriating more than 93-thousand dollars from a Farris Law Group trust account with the purpose of depriving 2 clients of payments from their settlements, which were suppposed to be used for unpaid medical bills.

Farris is charged with 2 counts of class B felony stealing. She is scheduled to appear in court again December 4th.
