Suspects Surrender Themselves in Harrison

thumb_134d1ed753607eeHARRISON, Ark. – Two burglary suspects turn themselves in last week after they saw their images from a surveillance camera offering a reward.

Boone County Sheriff Mike Moore says 31-year-old Lela Gilbert and 35-year-old George Upton, both of Deer, face charges of residential burglary and theft of property.

Moore says jewelry, money, and firearms were taken from a residence on Tennyson Loop last month.

The homeowners and the Boone County Sheriff’s Office posted a reward with images of the suspects from a Wal-Mart security camera as they entered the business.

They are being held in the Boone County Jail on 500-thousand dollars each.
