The Reeds Spring High School Youth Empowerment Club along with the fall sports teams and other school organizations will be hosting a “Trunk or Treat” next Thursday, October 30th from 6:30 until 8 p.m.
The event will be held in the west parking lot near the football stadium and is designed to provide children from pre-school through sixth grade with a safe environment to celebrate Halloween.
The event also serves as the kick-off for the school’s annual Christmas food drive. Each child is asked for a 1-dollar donation and they also receive a glow bracelet.
Approximately 750 children attended “Trunk or Treat” last year.
