HARRISON, Ark. – A Harrison man, wanted by the FBI, is arrested Monday morning during a traffic stop.
The man identified by authorities as 27-year-old Raphael Vasquez-Perez is in custody of the Harrison Police Department, and faces charges of fleeing in a vehicle, reckless driving, resisting arrest, and a DWI.
When officers booked the man, the electronic fingerprint system sent his fingerprints to the Little Rock office of the Automated Fingerprint Identification System or better known as AFIS. Police Chief Paul Woodruff says his department was made aware that Vasquez-Perez was wanted in connection with a federal investigation.
Additionally, the Boone County Sherrif’s Office website lists the man with charges from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. He remains in the Boone County Jail with bond set at just under 3-thousand dollars. The FBI has placed a hold on him until Federal investigators arrive.
