MARSHFIELD, Mo. – After being charged with statutory sodomy and attempted enticement of a child on Friday, 46-year-old Johanna Feazell appeared before a Webster County judge on Monday to request bond reduction.

The request was denied and she will remain in the Webster County Jail on 100-thousand dollars.

This all coming after a 16-year-old girl told investigators she had a “sexual encounter” with Feazell on October 10.

According to the probable cause statement, Feazell has been with the school district for nearly fifteen years and is listed as an 8th grade English and Language Art on the school’s website.

Feazell has been placed on paid administrative leave and if she were to post bond, she would be prohibited from coming into contact with the victim, the victim’s family, or any child under 18.

Superintendent Mark Mayo says the school district is reviewing its disciplinary process.
