Blood Drive Tuesday at Hollister High School

thumb_11adb241f2c6ba6Hollister High School is hosting a CBCO blood drive Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the school gymnasium.

Community Blood Center of the Ozarks says there is currently less than a 2-day supply of blood available for use by patients at 37 area hospitals served by the organization. At least 250 donations must be collected every day to keep up with the demand.

Donors will be awarded LifePoints, which may be redeemed for a variety of gift cards online. More information on the LifePoints donor rewards program may be found at www.cbco.org.

To be eligible to give blood, you must weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health and present a valid photo ID.

For more information visit www.cbco.org or call 1-800-280-5337.
