More than two dozen people are injured Thursday morning when a passenger train collides with a freight train south of West Fork in Washington County, Arkansas.
Among the injured are 6 crew members. According to the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management, 5 passengers are listed in critical condition.
Officials report a total of 44 people on the excursion train, with 10 engines and four passenger cars involved in the crash.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the accident.
