The Branson Board of Aldermen will vote on the city’s smoke-free ordinance this evening. First reading of the bill is scheduled on tonight’s meeting agenda.
A number of changes to the measure have been made following public input from local residents and business owners who requested more leeway in regard to smoking in outdoor areas. The ordinance would restrict indoor smoking in all public establishments, including bars and restaurants.
Aldermen will again receive public comments tonight at the beginning of their 7 p.m. meeting at Branson City Hall.
