HOLLISTER,Mo.– Over 180 participants line up at the start line to raise funds for a local family’s fight with cancer at the Second Annual Color Me Grape 5K yesterday morning.
The Smith family was showered with support as participants ran to benefit the Hollister School District’s School Foundation, which in turn gave the money raised to the family for the medical bills from Joe’s battle with stage four colon cancer. His wife Kristina is a Hollister teacher.

The Smiths and their one-year-son Porter, rode beside runners through the course and watched as the participants made their way to the finish line just before the Hollister Grape and Fall Festival began downtown.
