Fordland Teen Sentenced in Stone Co.

thumb_9a2de2729d8cc8bGALENA, Mo. – A teenager from Fordland is sentenced to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after he pleads guilty to receiving stolen property.

According to Stone County Prosecutor Matt Selby, 19-year-old Kelby Tettenhorst admitted to Stone County detectives he went to a residence in Crane with the purpose of stealing items to obtain money for drugs. The homeowner reported his house had been robbed with several guns missing in June of 2013.

The Stone County prosecutor’s office filed charges and obtained the conviction on Monday.
