GALENA, Mo. – A Reeds Spring woman is sentenced this week to five years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for possession of methamphetamine.
Stone County Deputy Taylor Jenkins made a traffic stop in August and recognized the passenger in the vehicle had a warrant out for her arrest. Twenty-three-year-old Tara Carroll was arrested and later found possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed on August 10 and she was convicted and sentenced on Monday.
Stone County Prosecuting Attorney Matt Selby complimented the work of Deputy Jenkins for recognizing Carroll and being aware she had a warrant for her arrest.
