The Hollister Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying those responsible for breaking into several homes in the Maple Street and Walnut Street areas during the months of June and July.
The city is offering up to a 500-dollar reward for the arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for the break-ins.
Police Chief Preston Schmidt says the burglars caused a lot of damage and financial hardship, and it’s time for them to be held accountable for their actions. He says a reward is not always appropriate in all cases, but he feels due to the substantial losses to several residents, these cases could benefit from a reward.
Those who you have information about the burglaries or have questions about the reward are asked to contact Detective Matt Sanders by calling 417-334-6565
