
A man from Branson charged with robbing Family Pharmacy at gunpoint on Tuesday made his initial court appearance Thursday and has a criminal setting hearing scheduled for October 21st.
Thirty-three-year-old Gregory Johnson is accused of entering the pharmacy, displaying a handgun and demanding pills. An armed employee reportedly fired one shot at Johnson, striking him in the torso. Johnson was arrested a short time later and received treatment for his wound.
Johnson is charged with pharmacy robbery, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm.
He remains jailed in Taney County on 500-thousand dollars bond.
