Ball says the freight plan will guide any future federal and state funding, and provide the foundation for how MoDOT works with freight partners statewide.

There are several ways to provide input during the month of October:

Review the plan located at www.MoFreightPlan.org and complete a short survey or provide general comments.

Join a webinar on Tuesday, October 14 from 9 to 10 a.m. MoDOT will provide an overview of the plan, including its conclusions and recommendations. Email chsmith@burnsmcd.com to RSVP and receive a link to access the webinar.

Request a speaker for a group presentation about the draft freight plan by emailing chsmith@burnsmcd.com.

The draft plan will be available for public input through October 31. The finalized plan will be presented to the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission in early 2015.
