BRANSON, Mo. – Two teens are hurt following a single car crash this morning on Fall Creek Road in Branson.
According to police, 17-year-old Cameron Apodaca of Branson was driving westbound around 1:30 a.m. when the car left the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned several times before catching on fire. Eighteen-year-old Shane Jones of Hollister was also in the vehicle.
Mike Shultz with the Western Taney County Fire Protection District says the vehicle traveled about 150 feet before coming to a stop:

Apodaca was eventually airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for serious injuries. Jones was taken to Cox Medical Center Branson for moderate injuries.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Apodaca is charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
