OZARK, Mo. – An Ozark assistant football coach is suspended for tonight’s game against Branson, according to the school district.
According to a statement by Ozark School District’s Director of Communications Curtis Chesick, “There was an incident at Willard during last week’s game, where one of our coaches made some completely inappropriate remarks; they were overheard by Willard parents, staff and students.”
Because of employee privacy laws, the district is not identifying the coach or disclosing the length of his suspension.
The Pirates defeated the Tigers last season on Homecoming, 43-30.
