CASS COUNTY – A man and a baby from Sparta are hurt in a single car crash on I-49 in Cass County last night.
According to state troopers, 27-year-old Paul Clowdus was traveling southbound when one of the tires on SUV exploded. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road and overturned, coming to a rest on the side of the SUV.
Clowdus and infant daughter Fraeya Clowdus are both listed with minor injuries and were taken to Belton Research Hospital. Twenty-six-year-old Amanda Clowdus was a passenger in the vehicle and refused treatment at the scene.
