
State Representative Don Phillips of Kimberling City is part of a bipartisan group of legislators reviewing the Missouri Water Patrol’s merger with the State Highway Patrol.
The group’s first public hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. October 1st in House Hearing Room 3 at the State Capitol in Jefferson City.
According to a news release, the panel will review the way the Water Division is managed, the training received by troopers, and the overall cost benefit to the state.
A second public hearing is scheduled for 11 a.m. October 14th at Osage Beach City Hall.
