Both Skyline Heights and Forest Heights Elementary schools are among the top schools in the state in math and literacy. Skyline Heights is ranked fifth in math, seventh in literacy, while Forest Heights ranks sixth in math and tenth in literacy.
Skyline Heights students had a GPA of 3.76 with a 96% proficiency rate in math, with a 3.71 GPA and a 98-percent proficiency rate in reading. Forest Heights had a 3.73 GPA with a 97% proficiency rating in Math – and in reading, Forest Heights maintained a 3.70 GPA with a 95% proficiency.
Green Forest Elementary School made the list in literacy ranking 16th best in the state. Harrison Junior High is 22nd in literacy with Harrison Middle School coming in at 24th on the list.
The Office of Education Police plans to release its lists of high-achieving high schools, most improved schools, and high-achieving schools serving low-income communities.
