A man from Branson is sentenced to 10 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to multiple felonies in Taney County Circuit Court.

Fifty-two-year-old Robin Griffin will serve concurrent sentences on charges of driving while intoxicated, passing bad checks, possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

Taney County Prosecutor Jeff Merrell says Griffin is a career criminal who was acting like a one-man crime spree. He had 5 previous DWI convictions from different courts in southwest Missouri, including the Branson and Hollister municipal courts.

Griffin was charged as a prior and persistent felony offender and he entered into a plea agreement with the Prosecutor’s Office.
