HARRISON, Ark. – Another suspect is in police custody in relation to a string of car break-ins in the Harrison area.
Police confirm the arrest of 20-year-old Brandon Jones of Harrison wanted on warrants of theft of property and breaking or entering in relation to several car break-ins.
Police Chief Paul Woodruff says Jones was named as a suspect in several break-ins. According to Woodruff, the suspect told police that he took cash and other items to be sold.
Two Harrison teens, David Wilson and Teal Hampton were both arrested in Marion County for allegedly robbing a gas station at gunpoint on August 21.Woodruff says Wilson told authorities that Jones gave him a gun from his vehicle the previous night.
Hampton posted bond and was released from the Marion County Jail, however Wilson and another suspect, 21-year-old Houston Dunsing of Alpena, remain in jail on 100-thousand dollars bond.
