A news release from Branson Bank states Ostrom’s work on behalf of disabled veterans is without equal and he demonstrates courage, heroism and bravery each day as he seeks to provide the best care for our nation’s veterans.
Ostrom was a driving force that helped DAV Chapter 68 to be organized and officially recognized in Branson. He serves as adjutant for the chapter, which works closely with the Branson VA Clinic.
Ostrom enlisted at the age of 17 and served two tours in Vietnam. He retired in October of 1983.
