FAA Grants Approved for Arkansas Airports

Two airports in northern Arkansas are selected to receive grant funds from the Federal Aviation Administration.

The Calico Rock-Izard County Airport is approved for 351-thousand dollars to widen its taxiway, and the Searcy County Airport will receive nearly 160-thousand dollars to rehabilitate its runway.

Other airports selected for federal grant funding include those in Fordyce, Mena, Paris, Waldron, Woodruff and Bentonville.
