Drug Take Back Event Saturday in Branson

The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day Logo - DEAThe Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Team, Branson Police Department and Drug Enforcement Administration are providing a prescription drug take back event Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CVS Pharmacy in downtown Branson.

The event gives the public an opportunity to prevent drug abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous, expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.

The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. If you are unable to attend the take back event, unwanted medications can be disposed of at two permanent drop boxes located in the lobby of the Branson Police Department and the Taney County Sheriff’s Office in Forsyth.
