Forsyth Amending RV Code, Approves Contracts

thumb_a3c06284f9570efThe Forsyth Board of Aldermen approves first reading of an ordinance amending city code pertaining to recreational vehicles. The measure extends temporary parking in driveways to 48 hours, and does not prohibit permanent parking in carports.

Aldermen reluctantly approve a contract renewing employee health insurance, and a maintenance agreement for hand-held meters – both of which increased significantly from last year.

City Supervisor Chris Robertson reports proceeds from the recent Forsyth Fun Day results in a 1-thousand dollar donation to Project Graduation, a 500-dollar donation to the Forsyth Library, and a 500-dollar donation to the local Master Gardeners.
